I am a full time senior research associate and lecturer (Dozent) here at ETH Zurich.
My main research interest is the Security Ecosystem and Vulnerability Lifecycle. I am a lecturer of the for Networking Security course offered by the Communication Systems Group.

Short Bio

Until 2000, I was mainly involved in networking security and the development and operation of secure web-, mail-, and payment-applications.
I then joined ISS X-Force EMEA PSS (Professional Security Services) team to provide technical expertise and security consulting for international clients. I specialized in vulnerability research, networking and web application security.
In late 2004, I rejoined ETH Zurich for a Ph.D. research position in information security under supervision of Prof. Bernhard Plattner. Myresearch interests are the vulnerability lifecycle and ecosystem, and networking security.
